Facial Reflexology is similar to normal Reflexology but it is done using light finger pressure to points on the FACE which stimulates reflex points. Normal Reflexology is normally applied to the feet an sometimes the hands. It is a very relaxing treatment and might be preferable to someone who does not want it done on their feet.
It aims to relieve the effects of stress, improve circulation, relieves tension in the muscle tissue, relieves mental strain and improve concentration, helps sinus congestion problems, rejuvenates the skin, brings about a feeling of relaxation. It allows the therapist to gain an understanding of what reflexes are out of balance and what is going on with the body's internal organs and central nervous system.
I trained with Ziggie Begman at the London School of Reflexology.
I can do short treatments covering 12 points on the face (approx 30 min treatment) or the more advanced method covering all the points, approximately 40 points and this treatment is a lot longer.
